Intelligent Lunar Microgrid

The FuelPod is an intelligent, mobile and robust micro-grid of connected lithium Ion power packs.The solution focuses specifically on grid management using machine learning and engineering the pods for the extreme working conditions of lunar missions, with material selection and novel design features including shock resistance mechanisms, advanced radiation shielding and lunar dust management. A focus on tried and tested technologies such as lithium Ion batteries, solar power, energy harvesting technologies such as piezoelectric sensors and a layer of machine learning optimization, enables a low-risk, multi-scenario, plug and play platform for a broad variety of lunar power applications that is easy to use, safe, suited to large areas of operations and extremely durable.
